How to increase your happiness

Brother David Steindl-Rast explores the relationship between happiness and gratefulness in his TED Talk. He challenges the assumption that happiness leads to gratefulness, suggesting instead that gratefulness can bring true happiness. By recognizing each moment as a gift, even during challenging times, we can cultivate a grateful mindset. He introduces the method: "Stop, Look, Go"—a simple, transformative practice to pause, appreciate, and take meaningful action. Grateful living not only enriches our personal lives but fosters empathy, respect, and interconnectedness, creating a more harmonious world.
